Bad things do happen to good people

When it comes to suffering, it seems there is no such thing as a, “Get out of trials free,” card. No family is exempt. We will eventually experience our own tragedy, whether it is death, divorce, financial disaster, abuse, illness, natural or man-made disaster. Tragedy becomes tragedy based on our perception and ability to cope.

Even Christ suffered in our name and understands whatever pain you may have experienced, are experiencing or will ever experience. He volunteered to guide you, and walk through life beside your family because he loves you and your children. He does everything he can to balance the scales of justice when we do everything we can to keep his commandments.

This is the most difficult of all the ideologies. God is infinite, eternal, omnipresent and omniscient. Then you will ask this question then if you keep serving and helping others, why evil things come to you? Things which are bound to happen will happen anyway. All you need to do is to break free from them. First of all, it is very important to determine what exactly wrong is? For someone what bad is, it might not be for the other person necessarily. Bad things are a permanent feature of your life. Of course, everyone has the habit of asking, “Why me?” “What have we done wrong to deserve this?”

There is no such thing as “get out of the trial free.” We will have to face what is inevitable and our destiny. Be it manmade or natural disasters; it will meet us when it is bound to. Tragedy becomes a tragedy if we let it become one. It is directly related to our perspective and capability to come up with it. As Tim Hansel said “Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional,” it actually depends upon the path you want to choose. The path of joy and misery both are always open, but what you choose will make the difference in your life. Also, Gene Cook (a religious leader) talked about the global and personal suffering people go through. He shared some of the reasons why people suffer, whether good or bad. Believing someone to be good or bad depends upon human beings as nobody comes labeled as good or bad. However, reasons given by Cook seems relevant that why people suffer.

#1. The Myth Of “Bad Things”

It is actually high time to see what bad things are. They are like a gift to us. It is the way of the universe to tell you that you are probably working on something or something is being worked for you. If you will ignore the signs, you will always play “victims” in your own life. The only responsibility you have is towards your life, and only you need to clean it up. It is entirely up to you that what you do with the bad things or the vital information in your life.

#2. The Real Existence Of “Reality”

Once you are born on earth, you are in a mode of survival. It is that simple and plain. And in order to do that you need all the help, you can get. You need food, protection, and shelter. Either you can learn to blend with all the things around you, good and bad, or you can play the “Victim” in your game of life. Suffering is must in order to survive and develop as a human.

#3. The Choices Are Not There

There is no point of digging your head into sand pretending like an ostrich. You do not have a choice except following the pattern that is designed for you. The universe is in love with you and keeps showing the gifts that you deserve. It will keep showing you the pattern it has designed for you whether by suffering or joy. However, ultimately it will make you realize your path that you need to walk on. In order to get a clear idea of the pathway made especially for you, one needs to walk alone for sometimes. Sufferings are inevitable, and there is no escape to it.
